All That Glitters is Gold

The season for sunnies is here, and it’s time to grab your faves, my friends…before that summer sun heats up! And I’m here to tell ‘ya which styles will keep you made in the shade. Let me give you a hint: if you’re a Bruno Mars fan, you’re going to love this a lot- because it’s 24 Karat Gold baby!

So by now you probably have figured out that when I’m getting all dolled up, sometimes I have a wee bit of trouble picking just one set of eyewear to go with it. So here are 2 different variations of my look, which just goes to show you how changing up your eyewear can totally transform a look, even with the same outfit! I personally LOVE these latest 2 glittery trends for sunglasses, and I hope you do, too!

1. Oversized square shapes

Here I am wearing Gucci style GG0106S, which is an amazingly beautiful oversized geometric frame. Its uniqueness is defined by an unexpected monochromatic mix of gold metal frame with glitter gold acetate front. The gold metal temples are gorgeously enriched by glitter gold acetate tips, decorated with the image of a bee—a historical Gucci code from the seventies. These beauties are adorned with brown solid lenses and provide the all-important 100% UVA/UVB protection I’m seeking when I’m strolling around the beach or on the streets of Palm Springs this summer.

2. Pineapple Everything

If you’re like me, you know that with summer comes Pineapple Everything!!! Pineapples show up on napkins, phone cases, tote bags, nearly everything I lay my eyes on. So why should your eyewear be left out of this trend? Trust me, if you’re a girl who REALLY want to get noticed, try on Gucci’s 53Mm Pineapple Sunglasses (Style Number: 5415959). These glasses are part of the Hollywood Forever collection and are made with love in Italy. With a tropical-pineapple motif, these playful sunglasses are as eye-catching as a bright summer’s day. The gold-tone acetate frames plastered with crystals will help you sparkle and shine in the sun. The brown gradient lenses and interlocking GG accents at the temple finish off the look in style.

Which of my two looks do you like the best?
